Q: What is Martial Combat?

A: Martial Combat is a multi-player online text based Martial Arts sports simulator. What's that? Well, it breaks down into is this: In this game you, the player, will get to play as the manager of a Stable full of Martial Arts fighting experts. As this manager you get to recruit new fighters and manage every aspect of their careers.

It's not just a matter of managing the fighters, however. The players also get to create the persona of each individual fighter in his/her Stable. Thus, each fighter becomes a unique individual rather than just a set of numbers. With your individual fighter personalities, you can interact and role play with other managers and their fighters in the game through teams and the different role playing forums.

• There are 4 in character forums that will give your fighters a place to talk smack or role play

• As you get to be a better manager, you can recruit better fighters.

• Being a web browser based game; you can update you characters from anywhere.

Q: What are the naming rules?

A: In an effort to keep the games fun for everyone, the following naming rules are in affect for fighters and managers. Fighters who violate these naming rules will be removed from the game. Players who violate these rules will receive a request from the Admin to change the name.

1. Profanity not allowed on Prime Time American TV will not be allowed in names. Players should think twice about using ANY profanity in a fighter or manager name, however, as these names will be scrutinized very closely by the Admin Staff and may still be removed.
2. Lewd or tasteless names are not allowed. This includes juvenile humor names such as Jack Mee Hoff and George 'Titty Humper'
3. Racist, hatred, or sexual slur names are not allowed.
4. Excessively silly names such as aaaaaa 'aaa' aaaaa or 34209 or Jump 'JumpJump' Jump are not allowed.
5. Movie titles and statements are not allowed. So names like 'Attack of the Clones' and 'I am the Best' are not allowed.
6. Any name that does not contribute to the value of the game, at the sole discretion of the Admin Staff, will be removed from the game.
7. Names of famous personas real or otherwise, or names that use could violate copyright infringements can not be used in the MC Arena. The sole exception to this is if the player of that fighter owns that copyright. (so if your Stan Lee, please feel free to make Peter Parker.) This includes, but is not limited to character names in comic books and other printed stories, movies, TV and radio shows.
8. No compensation can, or will, be given to fighters, managers or players for manager or fighter deletions under the naming rules. This includes any manager working reputation spent on the fighter. If you are unsure about the name you are using for the fighter do not use manager reputation on him. It will not be refunded.
9. Paying for service does not suspend these rules.

Q: What do you mean by PG-13?

A: PG-13 is the tone, and language we wish to be represented in our games and message forums. If you can see or hear it on American Prime time TV, on a normal (not cable) channel it will probably be allright. Note that The OFGE Staff reserve the right to censor any posting we deem unacceptable.
